SXSW 2010 (PODCAST #43)

I’ve been working on this podcast for the last 3 weeks nonstop day and night listening to literally over a thousand bands to be able to predict and pick my favorite bands that will rock SXSW 2010 in Austin, TX this year.

A lot of the bands playing SXSW were featured in BUTR’s 100 songs for $10 promo or in past podcasts or are slated for future podcasts.  There’s so much good music coming out that I’m dying to share with you so let’s get this party started!

Below are BUTR’s 80 Top Picks that are playing SXSW this week.  Because I didn’t want the podcast to be 6 hours long, I picked 36 hot tracks that I’m in love with right now that I haven’t played for you yet from my list of 80 bands that are all must-hear artists.

I will come back from Austin with a full report on what bands where killer live so stay tuned.  In the meantime let me know what tracks you are loving.  Download the podcast on iTunes or just push play below.  Hit me up if will be in Austin and tell me what your digging.

Oh and if you have an iPhone/iPod Touch or a phone on Google’s Android platform, then you can download a free BUTR app and get new hand-picked music from BUTR delivered to you every week that you can listen to anytime on-demand!  Just search for BUTR in your app store.
