Brandy Clark, most famous for writing hits for other country artists such as Miranda Lambert, may soon be famous for writing her own hit. Clark released her debut album ’12 Stories’ this week where she wrote or co-wrote all 12 songs. This debut album is full of fiesty, heartfelt lyrics and Americana goodness.
Clark’s single “Stripes” tells the story of her desire for revenge against an unfaithful lover where she sings “The only thing saving your life is I don’t look good in orange, and I hate stripes”. This song is a smash IMHO. Play it below:
